Luli Faber – Heal Your Own Pain

Dr Luli Faber is a scientist who has spent almost 20 years of research in neuroscience, physiology and pharmacology. Her Ph.D. focused on mechanisms of pain treatment in the spinal cord, and after her Ph.D., for most of the rest of her academic career, she studied the parts of the brain involved in mediating emotions and emotional memory formation.

Dr Luli’s series of Heal your Own Pain workshops are run periodically in the clinic.  They follow and One Hour Introductory Presentation followed by a series of Question and Answer evenings also one hour long.  Previous workshops have been professionally filmed and are available for viewing on Dr Luli’s website.  The e-book of the same name is available for downloading from her website.

I have found through my own personal experiences, together with investigation of large amounts of medical and scientific evidence, that our suppressed negative emotions createour health problems.

By using the approach outlined in my two eBooks I have gone from a life of quite poor health, experiencing one physical problem after another for my entire adult life, to curing almost all of my physical ailments, including chronic problems such as hay fever, as well as chronic anxiety.

I have found through my own personal experiences, together with investigation of large amounts of medical and scientific evidence, that our suppressed negative emotions create our health problems.

Since making these discoveries in 2008, and becoming open to experience my emotions, I have been in very good health and have not needed to visit a doctor for any physical ailments.

I am currently employed part time as a tutor at the University of Queensland, where I teach physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, genetics, cell biology, statistics and psychology, and I also give private science and maths tuition.

We are fortunate and grateful to have Dr Luli presenting her program at LHCC.
